MEET Nancy

I was born in Casper, WY, in 1958 and grew up mostly in the western suburbs of Denver, CO, I have lived in Ward 2 for over 40 years.

I was a National Merit Scholar at Green Mountain High School and a Boettcher Scholar at The Colorado College, where I earned a BA in International Political Economy (Soviet Studies) and was the first wheelchair user in The College’s history.

As your current representative on the Advisory Neighborhood Commission, I’m your first stop in helping you get what you need in the community, whoever you are. Whether you’re a renter or owner, corner shop or major business, I’m here to amplify your voice to make Downtown thrive for everyone.

I’m here to be a listener, collaborator, and convener.

SMD 2C02 is the northwestern portion of Commission 2C; as of 2026 we have 990 registered voters and nearly a thousand other residents, who are also my constituents. We are served by both the Downtown and Golden Triangle Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), and by the 2^nd District of the DC Metropolitan Police.
